    Class Details

This six-session class is for caregivers or anyone who is burned out from difficult times. Research has shown that when people treat themselves with kindness and compassion, they are healthier, happier and better able to sustain compassion and kindness for others.

In this class, you will learn practices that will help you harness tenderness and fierce compassion for yourself, including gently yoga movement with a focus on breath. Fierce compassion enables you to speak up for yourself, set clear boundaries and thrive. Living with strength and confidence allows you to show up for others with calmness and an open heart.

Participants should plan to attend all sessions. Michele Hoffman, a Mayo Clinic Health System yoga therapist, will teach the classes on Zoom.

Register at least one week prior to class start.
